Location:Medical Center - Fort WorthDepartment:Radiology-MRIShift:Varying Shifts (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:12Summary:The MRI Technologist is accountable for performing quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. The MRI Technologist is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.Qualifications:Associate's degree requiredGraduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology2-3 years MRI experience preferredPediatric experience is desirablePossess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy Good interpersonal skillsMust have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress.Must have either: - ARRT (RT) (MRI), requires TMB Licensure within 90 days. - ARRT(MR), TMB not required. - ARMRIT, TMB not requiredCPR - BLS requiredAbout Us:Cook Children's Medical Center is the cornerstone of Cook Children's, and offers advanced technologies, research and treatments, surgery, rehabilitation and ancillary services all designed to meet children's needs.Cook Children's is an EOE/AA, Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
